Shivering In Hell
Available September 1, 2026
The day has finally come! After taking over my life for the last two-and-a-half years, I can now officially announce that my debut novel, Shivering in Hell, will release on September 1, 2026. You don’t have to wait that long to stake your claim to it, however. Pre-orders for both the paperback and ebook are available right now.
I’m so pleased with how this novel turned out, and if you have any interest in crime fiction or neo-noir, I hope you will give it a shot. And even if it’s not your sort of thing, if you know someone who might like it, I would appreciate it if you shared it. Aside from actually buying the book itself, leaving reviews on sites like Amazon and Goodreads and spreading the word is the best thing you can do to support an indie author.
I’ll have more updates on the book and related promotions as we get closer to September, but in the meantime, check out the synopsis below to learn what Shivering in Hell is all about, and click on the links to pre-order your copy today!

More on Shivering in Hell:
Some crooks are so cold they’ll still be shivering in hell.
Boris is a petty criminal who reluctantly comes back to the one place where everything always goes horribly wrong…home. Desperately needing a payday, he agrees to assist a former classmate in kidnapping the son of a corrupt judge as part of an ill-conceived plan to help an imprisoned acquaintance and score some quick cash. Predictably, the scheme blows up in their faces, forcing Boris to scramble to survive. With one partner in a coma (thanks to a bullet in the brain), and another turned homicidal maniac in an effort to cover his tracks, Boris allies himself with the judge’s junkie son and a local working girl in possession of some very profitable secrets. Over the course of a snowy weekend in rural Kansas, the trio attempt to play their enemies against each other and cash in on the sordid skeletons hidden in the town’s closet. But can they trust each other to stay out of their own way? Or will their insecurities cost them their lives?
Taking its cue from the work of Joe R. Lansdale, S.A. Cosby, and Jordan Harper, Shivering in Hell is the story of a damaged man struggling to survive in a harsh world made even more unforgiving by his own missteps. Featuring no shortage of shady deals, violence, sex, and dark comedy, it introduces a quick-witted and often unreliable narrator. Boris is not a good guy, but surrounded by even worse guys, even a bad guy is due for a break. Just ask him.
“A good, solid, enjoyable ‘everything is f*cked’ yarn…”
